The Mobile CleanAir Unit is a mobile work space with an indoor area where a local cleanroom condition is created by air treatment using Filter Fan Units equipped with HEPA filters. The unit is available in open and closed versions. If necessary, the airflow can be cooled by integrated cooling units.
In an open design, the air from the environment is filtered through the ceiling system, in which the FFUs are placed, and introduced into the room via a downflow airflow. The selected wall panels provide the necessary flow of the air to the floor to disappear back into the environment through the open space at the bottom. An open Mobile CleanAir Unit recirculates the air from the entire environment within which the unit is placed. If required, the unit can be fitted with wheels, making it easy to move.
A closed system is then considered when filtering the ambient air becomes too costly and use has to be made of the already filtered return air. The unit is completely closed by wall panels and a door, the air is returned to the plenum box through grilles in the inner ceiling, which is completely closed at the top. Based on this structure, the air is circulated and filtered inside the unit. An additional FFU in the roof construction provides overpressure and necessary air exchange.
The Mobile CleanAir Unit is constructed from prefabricated components made of high-quality aluminium. Like the wall finish, the ceiling system is modular and of excellent cleanable, durable quality. The wall sections can be supplied in various designs, either fully or partially transparent. The door can vary from a simple wing door to an electrically driven sliding door. Obviously, it is possible to fit the unit with a pipe duct on the inside with various connections (electricity, data, gases, etc.). The height of the unit can vary up to a maximum height of 3500 mm.
