Periodic re-qualification of cleanrooms

Many users are surprised that cleanrooms have to undergo regular re-qualification.
Cleanrooms with ISO 14644 class 6, 7 and 8 and GMP class C and D are subject to annual re-qualification.
Spaces with a higher qualification must even be re-qualified every six months.

Within the GMP sector, this obligation is widely known, partly due to the strict controls from the government.
A well-organised shutdown period is therefore essential to efficiently combine maintenance, validation and re-qualification.
